Great News! I'm glad the riser final got put back into action. Osprey often need the stimulation of a few sticks to get into nesting mode. It was such a shame that the folks who installed the new riser up left the entire nest on the ground below. It really is too late for a pair to attempt

The platform which NYSEG placed on the pole that had an Osprey nest last year has remained empty all spring. Last week I noticed one Osprey perching on the platform. This morning there are two there. But probably too late for them to start a family, right? The pole is on the west side of Rt 89,
