On my way up the hill from Rt 96/34 I saw a bald eagle in a tree and
then another one perched above the road. The second was an immature
eagle and it took off up the road, I followed it up the road driving
somewhat slowly. It flew about 90 meters along the tree covered
street, sometimes only 6-8' a

I am thinking of taking a trip to Conowingo MD to see the Bald Eagles
who come by the hundreds to fish at the dam there, also there are
thousands of Gulls.
It is a 4 1/2 hour trip one way and will be a long day, leaving at 6:00

We are about a mile north of the Ithaca Yacht Club and awoke this morning to
find Cayuga Lake frozen all the way across the lake. There were five white
bumps on the ice in front of our house that turned out to be tundra swans.
