Well, all my expected migrants showed up this week. A hummingbird showed up this morning. It was eating from flowers on a weed in my patio. I’ve often believed that they will go to a natural food source before the feeder. I’ve had my feeders out for a week now and again I saw it on a flower

I saw the hummer again today, about 3:30pm. I happened to be within about 5 feet of the feeder when it showed up (working on winterizing an exterior door, no camera handy). I got a better look and did indeed see a rusty hue on its side when it perched on the feeder. I didn't get a good look
