of bald eagles, red-tailed hawks, sharp-shinned hawks, turkey vulture
Thousands of ducks were on the open water of Brooder and Headquarters Ponds.
The highlight was one Ruby-Crowned Kinglet (visual and audio confirmation) in
the shrub at South Winter Pond. I watched it for 5 minutes. It occasionally
flared it's red crest and called out "di dit" several times. Here
I found one GREAT EGRET in the north marsh behind the Montezuma Audubon Center
(2295 Route 89 Savannah) this afternoon at 2:30 pm while leading a Girl Scout
program.
