I am running the cucm 7.02 pub and sub on vmware esxi 4.1 host (dual quad core, 16 gb ram) and if I ping the server from the router (1000 pings at 1000 bytes) I loose 1 in every six packets repeatedly - ie 5 success, 1 loss in a pattern. All the posts I can find about this are on the CDP duplex

Hi Steven, This is a normal behavior. It is cause by some sort of DOS protection in place. If you ping from windows, you won't see this symptom. Basically from Linux or iOS, they fire ping much more rapidly than windows. It happens on physical server as well. Sent from my iPhone Pls pardon
