Hi Voiceboy,
This is my understanding.
huntstop usually is used on shared ephone-dn to limit the incoming call.
if you just wanted to have the next incoming call during an active call,
busy trigger will do the trick.
whereas for max-call-per button, if it is an octo-line, the default is

I'm having a hell of a time trying to get UCCX editor to work in standalone
mode. I use proctorlabs for my UCCX studying, because I don't have a UCCX
server. I am able to connect to the UCCX with the script editor, but when
I'm done with the lab and try the editor at home, it fails
In my experience, the partial match does work but usually requires a CM
service restart.

IIRC, you'll need to use UCCX editor 8.0 or higher for standalone mode
to work properly. I'm using v8.0(1.1) and it works fine.

Hi All
I have a requirement wherein I would like to present my VM System (Octel)
with the Last Redirected Party instead of the Original Called Party from
CUCM. By default CUCM sends the original called party in the RDNIS to the
VM. I know that its possible to manipulate this via Translation
but busy trigger will affect all the phone
while hunt stop will affect the required DN only
So I see hunt stop is preferred if he need to forward calls to VM for the 2nd
received call
Any one have an opinion ?
Hi Royce - I think in this instance the CUC vmail ports will be
invoking the XCoder.

Hello everyone, I'm having this stange issue with CME 7.0.1, the router is
getting correct time from NTP and some phones are getting the right time
from the CME (7940) and other don't (7965 and CIPC), if someone know how
solve this issue, please let me know.
Thanks
Abel...
Put the configs here...
I don't know about 7965 but CIPC gets it's time from computer I think,
therefore you can't provide time for CIPC from a router.
For 7965 you need to have correct timezone set in telephony-service... timezone
number
And then create cnf is mandatory, otherwise it doesn't
OK so some older phones get the correct time but the newer phones do not.
Newer phones have a built in clock and calendar so I believe this
could be a issue with the command time-zone x needing to be added to
the telephony-service section, so example would be
clock timezone est -5
Hi,
Is the siteC CME? Why did the CFUR call go out HQ gw? Not that it matters but
anyway... Curiosity.
From what I understand there should be no need for a transcoder at all, that's
why the transcoder is not invoked.
First call siteC to siteB - CFUR - HQ GW- G729 call
This is one
sorry did that wrong,
you do it under telephony-service but when you type
time-zone ?
you pick the number, not the -5 like I did,
so it would be
clock timezone est -5
telephony-service
time-zone 12
here are all the right number
time-zone ?
1-53 select timezone name used by IP phones
7940/60 phones use the router's time. The newer phones obey the timezone
command under telephony service.

I think CIPC also use the same source of 7965 cause it does not have the
same time of my pc. This is my running config, after try all in this list no
luck.

Is ny -4 the same as timezone 14?
Can't remember.
Is the ntp in synch on the router?

If you change:
telephony-service
time-zone
You will have to do :
No create cnf
Create cnf
Then reset the phones in order for it to take the change.
Thx,

George, I figured out the optimal solution but I still don't think you are
totally correct.
From the output below it seems obvious that it's a codec mismatch problem
even though I realize these are totally different calls. Why
It look like the CME is not creating the cnf files for 7965
CUCME#sh telephony-service tftp-bindings
tftp-server system:/its/united_states/7960-tones.xml alias
United_States/7960-tones.xml

So my scenario is that you enable the Mobile Voice Access dial-in number
(callmanager service params media resources mobile voice accesss).
Somebody calls in from a cellphone which number is also a configured Remote
