[OSL | CCIE_Voice] Route Plan questions
Hi Experts This is not exactly a specific question but rather hoping you can share your experience. I am going through the topic of route plan. From various lab exercises, I can see that there are quite a few different approach or way to achieve the route plan requirements. Then I have to ask, how do you analyse the route plan requirement or how do you decide which way to achieve the requirements? For example, I can see some people use transformation CSS at device pool or some use them at the gateway. Or in terms of translation pattern, some will use one partiton for all sites, or one per each site. I suppose the end result is to make sure it works according to the requirement, I just want to see how everyone tackle this, especially when you only have less than 8 hours to do this. However, i do get very quick response when i log fault through After Hours support link on the webpage. I think, Richard wrote me that when the issue is logged through After Hours support link, a page goes out to the support enginer. This make sense why i do not get response when i log fault through 'supp...@proctorlabs.com' in mid-night session but do get response when i log fault throgh After Hours support link. Since, last night's situation was catch 22 situation, that is it was happening in midnight session and also can't access 'After Hours Link', even an email to supp...@proctorlabs.com would not have been attended to. That's my 2c comment on last night situation. -adil On Mon, Aug 22, 2011 at 3:11 AM, Marko Milivojevic mar...@ipexpert.comwrote: Hi, there was a downtime this morning. Hi Alejandra, Actually it is working with me. You only see the calling name when answer the call, not in rining state. Yes, You wont see calling name till call is answered and connected. On Sun, Aug 21, 2011 at 11:45 PM, Alejandra G Romero alexg...@gmail.comwrote: Hey Wael That is exactly what is doing. Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] [GATEKEEPER DIAL FROM BR23001 TO BR11002 GET YOU'RE CALL CANNOT BE COMPLETED AS DIALED]
Hi Mike, A few suggestions. CUCM Trunk have a CSS assigned to it that can see the partition that the phones are in? Add dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric h245-signal to your dial-peer 15. Since the destination phone isn't ringing, turn up 'debug ras' on BR2 and the gatekeeper. Check that for any errors. I've got all my phones in phoneview working for BR1 (2-7960's), HQ (1-7962/2-7940) and one phone on BR2 (7940). My SIP phone on BR2 a 7960 gets discovered by phoneview without an IP address and I manually add it, but I get response timeout when trying to perform any functions.
