Hi, I recently upgraded my Mac to Sierra (I know, early adopter...) and thereafter the latest XQuartz (2.7.10_rc3). The latter step seemed to break Coot, apparently because Coot requires the run-time library /opt/X11/lib/libXt.6.dylib and this has been replaced by /opt/X11/lib/libXt.7.dylib.

Dear Alex, Did you try freezing with the mother liquor as is? If you freeze fast enough, you may not need additional cryoprotectant with 25% PEG3350. You should first freeze some reservoir solution and look if it stays clear, before attempting to destroy a crystal. Best, Herman Von: CCP4
