Bill,
Sorry, I understand now. Assuming you have the confirmed ability to
make a disk from DSK image you found a corrupted DSK file. Gotcha. I
am kind of busy at the moment, but I do have the disk you need, the
actual disk. If you find no other source I could image mine for you.

Bill,
I searched for "montezuma 2.2 hard drive install" on Google:

I have been through the process a few times, it's pretty

Where are you located? We have a small amount of Modcomp docs here and
could take on a box more of the most useful paper docs for posterity-sake,
to round out what's already here.
Thanks

Find a working vms system and back up the drives to your
externally-attached drive (s) to clone them. Migrate the cloned drives to
your system. This is a simplified statement of what's really involved but
if you can get to a similar system to your dec whatever you have, I'd
attempt the clone
Reminder - The Kennett Classic Vintage Computing event is only 5 days away!
Many have already pre-registered for the all day vintage computing workshop
and there are still spaces for exhibitors available. After we break for
dinner there will be a chip tunes show from 7PM - 11PM

I have simply opened and physically moved the disk counter clockwise a
turn, in a clean dust-free place. Or try putting in an oven on warm for 3
minutes a side, all four sides to loosen the grease. Might sound crazy but
these have worked for me before

I have an Otrona Attache disk, I've imaged using Dunfield's Image Disk
program:

If there is interest, please download and create a disk and try to use the

Fred,
Just for the purpose of imaging the disks, is there any reason I cant treat
these disks like any other 5 1/4" cpm 360k disk?

Was there a UNIBUS storage system that used a cassette player as the
storage device (like an old Panasonic or RadioShack cassette player),
rigged to send receive signals via a serial card connection. I.e. the
system would have one serial card for the terminal and another serial card
on a
Is there a simh for the otrona attache? I have some.disk images created
with Dunfield's utility..if not I will try to read them by using the Zorba
portable, which is pretty good with varied formats.

This seller just had that kind of cruddy 11/05 for sale recently, this item
is in nicer shape, but I would not expect it to work "out of the box". It
may have been the companion RAM to the 11/05. I have a similar set up for
my 11/40 (in full sized chassis, etc. but same principle).

I have Motorola's "linear circuits" and "interface circuits" from 1979, but
actual Semiconductor Data Books I only have are from 1969-1973.

I would think Herb would have some valuable input, but I do know with the
SA800's there are a lot of jumpers, they vary based on the rev of the
board, and you want to be sure that the loading of the heads is not jumper
dependent. NOTING that I am only being logical not technical. I would
