Thank you for all your help on my dtfile issue on RedHat.
The problem was fixed when I accidentally opened my .Xdefaults file and
show that the MaXX desktop I was testing the other day had save some
configuration about motif that dtfile did not like.
These lines deleted the problem does not exist
Forget about screen locking. I forgot to set suid the dtsession executable.

You could do something like this:
$ ulimit -c unlimited # for bourne-like
$ /usr/dt/bin/dtfile
