I suspect that over time, one of them, will be far more used than the
other, and become the next CentOS, in the sense that while there were a few
RH clones, almost everyone chose CentOS.

(There are probably other programs, you can install ffmpeg from source, and
so on, but installing mplayer from the nux repos is probably the easiest
workaround. Or mpv if it's available, I'm not sure if it is.)

remember something I'd done which used, IIRC, $UID, without realizing it
was a bashism, instead of using id -u.
