After attending the CF Workshop in Reading last month and presenting the
uncertainties standard we have come up with a different proposal. There
was concern with adding new reserved attributes instead of extending the
use of existing attributes. I've updated the proposal in a new

Thanks for the reference. I have read this document. I was under the
impression that netCDF-U was no longer maintained. All the "ref" links
under http://www.uncertml.org/ are broken. Is there a different
organization that has taken up hosting the reference documentation?

which is fully compatible with CF and based on the uncertML:
