Hi all
PHP(http://sourceguardian.com) and ASP languages have your own code obfuscator. CF have cfencode but it's so, hmmm, easy to know using other decrypt program. Do you know any CFML obfuscator to protect our code?

Surely you don't *need* to use an image to show us what you want
to have as a result. You are outputting text and numbers, so you
should be able to represent that in ASCII art.

OK, I'm trying to write a hefty query and having a bit of trouble.

When you call duplicate(cfcatch) it returns a structure.Then you can pass
it to a UDF where the argument type is struct and use all struct functions
on it.
That's also how cfdump works.If it gets an exception, it duplicates it.

Hi guys,
With usual text boxes in forms, CF can make sure the user has filled
them in but how can I get it to make sure with select boxes the user

For select lists, I use this:

function checkFormSelect() {
Var= FormName.FieldName.selectedIndex;
if (FormName.FieldName.options[Var].value == ){
alert(Enter alert message here);
This error pretty much only happens when you are accidentally inserting a
value which has already been inserted.Take a look at the debug output from
the query and make sure the data you are inserting isn't already in the DB.
You might find that the info in the debug isn't what you thought it was.
Typically I do the same as Bruce, but use the value of zero as the indicator
for an unselected value.Doesn't really matter which you use, just pick one
and stick with it.In addition you'll want to validate on the server side
to prevent errors from users without JS.
Also, if you are going to be
I personally haven't seen an obfuscator, though it wouldn't be too difficult
to write a script that would strip out all comments, whitespace and CR's.
You could then encrypt it and apply a decent license.There's only so much
value in the trouble it takes to hide your code (in any language).If

If you're co-locating then you own everything that goes into their rack, so
you'll have to also own full licenses to everything on the box: Windows, SQL

BTW, I would highly recommend DataPipe for your co-location needs
LoRCAT does quite a lot more than strip all whitespace and comments from
your ColdFusion files.It also surgically analyzes each piece of your
ColdFusion source code for load concentration and builds a graphical chart
showing precisely where your code execution time is being absorbed.
So if you

Ah-ha!I forgot about LoRCAT!That would do the job!
I beg to differ.When we built LoRCAT we thought the
same thing, then we went up against all the dozens of
different ways that people write code and nest comments.
We're still trying to accommodate all of them.

I agree with Cameron that MS Access shouldn't be used for web apps, but in
some cases it is all you have or your only option.There are a few good

Generally, in a colocation arrangement you'd own the hardware and the
software licenses.You just purchase space and power plus bandwidth on a
connection to the Internet from the colo provider.
What you may be looking for is something more along the lines of a managed
