As Hatton said, changing maint_report_date to a date/time datatype would probably be preferrable.Doing that, the code I gave you should work (assuming that id is an integer). Otherwise, if you're going to leave it as a char field, change the cfsqltype in the first cfqueryparam to cf_sql_char.
