99% of the performance problems seen migrating are caused by this single driver
parameter and SQL Server precedence screwing you with regards to varchar and
nvarchar.

I've logged this as bug 61325. You can probably keep 7.0.1 but backoff the
connector to the 7.0 (JRun4 Updater 4 version) until we can look into this
further.
