I tend to run my development environment on Ubuntu, and I run both CF7, and CF8 respectively. I have found with CF7, if it goes down, it goes dwon *hard* - i.e. it needs a reboot, and nothing short of that will save it. With CF8, I don't have that problem, and it seems to run along pretty
