I've found the best way to deal with this is to build in 'awareness' of a Lite version into the code from the start.Then you can just -- for example -- set a flag in Application.cfm and it will automatically shift into Lite mode.Then you encapsulate all of your Pro functionality into includes and

How would you enforce commercial users to actual pay for it? I know most companies are honest and would pay, but there are still many that would just go, well we have download it might as well us it. This is why I'm asking the question. I think that there is enough honesty that this would work

Donationware doesn't really work to any meaningful degree even if you have *really* large numbers.The sad fact is that far, far too many people in our line of work expect software they download for free is free for all uses. There are many individuals who will be the exception to this rule, but
