Notice the end...returntype where it should be returnformat=json...
jQuery uses datatype: json... I just transferred the type part to the
CF.

went away.
My question is this - what would cause something like that to happen.
The file I uploaded was identical to the one that was already on the
server. Was I experiencing a memory leak or cache problem?

computer to the server and the error went away.

Wish I could - this is running on a shared hosting server.
Sometimes deleting the file and uploading a new one will fix it.

The Macromedia KB error wouldn't apply, as I'm using their fix already.
The other two, I'm not sure - this server has been online awhile, and has never
had this problem. If it were either of those two, I think it would have
manifested itself previously...

This might be a long shot...
After some research, I found that at the same time that these errors started
appearing, the hard drive on my backup server had filled up. At that time, the
backup server was copying files from the webroot of the server that received
the MIB errors.
