We at onlinebase.nl also have made our own shoppingcart, built in CFML that
runs on both ACF and Railo, and MySQL as well as MSSQL.
Saying that the USD 200,- that Mary Jo asks for her CFWebstore is too much
seems like an oddity to me. If the customer cannot pay USD 200,- for the

Are your integer fields datatype int in your database? I think a similar
error could occur if your integer fields were changed to varchar or a
different non-integer based field.

Apologies. My phrasing here is misleading. 100% my fault.
I knew about CF being free for education, but dreamweaver, flash,

from my educational colleagues.
Again, I apologize for my miscommunication.

No...my client has been with them for a while. I used to host with them and
they are pretty good as far as hosts go...it's just that he is on a shared
server. I left when they tried to tack on a 20/site charge for CF7 when it
came out.

You should allow users to submit videos for code samples, both in ASP.Net and
C#. One of the biggest helps I got while trying to learn C# was how to use the
Visual Studio debugging tools.

I agree not only do they need to try and get classes into the colleges,
they also need to teach the capabilities to the web staff of the
colleges.
I took a class on web administration (required couldn't opt out even
though I've been doing this a long time), and I used CF for my final
project.
@jonah,
Your site looks excellent. Good work.

we have used php in the past with extjs, when validating data on the server, if
something fails we pass back the failure by writing:

it must be encoded for extjs to use it properly
however we cannot seem to find an equivalent in coldfusion, we have
