Forgive my obtuseness, but does this mean we can use the Standard Edition of
 CF 9?

You're not being obtuse, I neglected to answer that question. Yes, you
can use either Standard or Enterprise in a reverse proxy environment.
I think you can use both in distributed mode too, but am not entirely
sure.

Win64 than 32-bit CF.

There are two ways you could do this: using distributed mode in CF,
or using IIS as a reverse proxy for specific URL patterns that
correspond to your web applications on the other server. The
distributed mode functionality is somewhat limited and CF-specific,
and may not work in your environment, so I'd suggest the reverse
 proxy
approach. Google IIS reverse proxy for more information.

Yes.

Change Subversion login info stored in CFBuilder

2011-12-08 Thread Eric Cobb

So, I have my SVN repositories set up in CFBuilder (via the subclipse
plugin), and I have it set to remember my username/password when connecting
to the repositories. I have a case where I need to change my login for one
of my repository connections, and I can't seem to figure out how to do that
in CFBuilder.

I've gone through all of the settings can't find anywhere to change the
username/password. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Eric

In fact, we do have a mixed bag of data sources ranging from Oracle 11g to
Microsoft SQL to 32-bit Microsoft Access. I read a little about driver issues
some people had and don't want to face that potential problem in addition to
the other problems I know I have to face especially since I am under some time
constraints to have this new CF server satisfactorily functional. However with
ColdFusion 10 (?) on the horizon, we might make our CF 64-bit upgrade
concurrent with our CF version upgrade; we'll see.

There should be a view called SVN Repositories.

Window Show view other SVN repositories. That should show your
repositories. Then in that view start right clicking on stuff or look at
the upper right hand menu. Sorry if I am not clearer but I have both sub
eclipse and subversive installed on this install and I can't tell which one
I am using. It just says SVN ;)

RE: Change Subversion login info stored in CFBuilder

2011-12-08 Thread Milner, Lincoln

 Hi Eric,

Can you change your password through another means (e.g., TortoiseSVN)? Our
SVN setup is tied to AD, so when I change my AD credentials my plug-in asks for
new credentials when the old ones stop working. That's how I fix that issue.
If you change your password outside Eclipse then the plug-in should re-prompt
you.

Cheers!

Re: ColdFusion 9 on One Computer and IIS 7 on Another Computer

2011-12-08 Thread Russ Michaels

the only driver issue you are likely to have is with MSACCESS, the
easy solution is usually msaccess with unicode, if it works.
The best solution is just to upgrade all msaccess databases to SQL
server, which in my experience is very simple and least amount of
hassle.

The default location is a Subversion folder in your user dir. By
storing it there all your SVN clients can share cached login
information.
