It's time for Adobe (if they don't do it already) to adopt a SaaS
model and make it available to everyone - to pay $50/mth or so for
CFENT without the need to purchase lics upfront.

I've seen a few people around (in AU) using 2CO - a US mob that allows
merchants from AU and bill in AU/US and other currencies.

It's probably of no use to you right now, but Plesk 8.4 (came out last
week) now supports CF8 on Linux. May like to update your plesk to that
(from within plesk) and then run CF/Plesk connection script from
within Plesk control panel.

Are you sure it's a windows server? From what I can see,

You'd need to find out how many VPSs are on the server. You'll hit a
bottleneck when some other VPS on the same hardware node start abusing
resources. 512MB RAM is ok as long as there is room to burst to at
least 1GB. Normally, for the price of a 512GB Windows VPS you could
get an entry level

Download products don't attract customs duty, insurance, shipping or
gst. Adobe obviously don't pay any of the above. Why not let AU
customers use USD pricing or use live exchange rate (make the
conversion at the gateway/bank level at the checkout)??

In the past (pre CF8), on macromedia site, you used to be able to buy
CF from the American shop and pay USD. Currency exchange is a business
on its own now.

Yeah but with the AUD the way it is $1300 is the correct conversion price.

If all CF servers on the same network, you can try one serial number
at a time. If it's already used on another server, you'll see a
warning in the server log (something like another server with the
same serial number found on the network). Just keep trying until it
stops complaining.
