@MrBuzzy: you're sessions could be different. Besides, it's not much
more than what was on the wiki
@Dale: IIRC it was something like 85-90% of the registrations showed
up, plus a few late arrivals. Not as many heads as Sydney but then
again Bris is only a third of the size.
have fun today and I
Barry,
I liked that session on Coldspring / Model-Glue, didn't you?
Overall, I think it was a great day, great people including those who
didn't present. Attendance is the key, so if your not there, the event
won't be on. So who are the stars of the show really?
Cheers
Gareth.

yeah I did, actually. Geez that's silly of me to forget
that.Especially since it could come in really handy for a project in
the new year.

Stars?... mate, you want an honest answer?
the
Thats what I was saying Barry, the starts of the show are those who
could attend including the Presenters, but not because they were
presenting, but because they were there.
Cheers
Gareth.

CFCamp in Brisbane yesterday was a great day!
Thanks to ALL those who participated.
In particular, thanks to the presenters who spent so much of their own
time resource preparing and for making the effort to present.
Thanks to Adobe for getting behind the event and making their reps
available.
I'm on the verge of throwing in the Mac towel.. its nothing really specific
just that unless I'm using Adobe Products + iLife etc, the majority of my
time is spent in Windows Vista.. the one annoyance I have is the keyboard
layout vs windows etc.. like APPLE + C for copy? what the heck is wrong
Yes! Get rid of that useless Macbook Pro. In fact, I'll come over and
take it away for you personally :)

Apple-C is Ctrl-C
Ctrl is yet another function-special key (more like the properties
key, RHS on a Win keyboard)
One thing I noticed when I got my Mac and then went on holidays with
it for a couple of months, picking up free Wi-Fi in Amsterdam or
internet cafe's all over Italy, storing and
And we're done. Thanks to the organisers and presenters, it was an
excellent event. I'm sure others would agree. Peter bell's talk was
inspiring mark and robin's were great too. Now i'm scurrying home to
rewrite my apps :) thanks to all. Hopefully it's a yearly thing, or
better. Cheers.

I can't understate the value of these events.
It's a way to learn, to meet people you might know from a list, catch with
regulars and engage new people.
I really enjoyed all the talks, it was a good mix of both CF8 and general
content.
The talks were all about 45 minutes, which I think
:-)
I am not a big fan of the CF8 Ajax features, sure for small
applications they bring some nice functionality. However the bigger
problem is that the technology is based on code that is now 2 years
old, and when the next version of CF is released I hope they patch
this technology (minor
