I usually mention this in the Melbourne CFUG so they know my stance...
having the right skills (OOP, proper relational tables,etc etc) is
sufficient, coldfusion should be mentioned as a secondary and not a
requirement at all, you should be able to teach even a fresh grad the
syntax within

Many thanks to Peter, Steve Dale for making new format MAD happen this
year, i think the revised format is good and has my vote... without which
there won't be giveaways for average joe attendees like myself, and more
importantly the opportunity to learn about new things (well new to me
and Dale for managing MAD. And of course Adobe for offering software
licenses in the draw.

TBH you would have to fix it yourself, I can't see Adobe fixing it soon as
it is likely a legacy issue, I would imagine if they change how it works to
the way we expect it should, any code using specifically the old behaviour
would error ... so they are probably stuck till they can agree on an

I have an ex colleague that work projects uses EC2... how do you arrive at
450-500 per instance excluding data?
With my discussions with him and a few others, it is very hard to estimate
your actual usage till you get on it.
