Milton upgraded my service several years ago. They were several hundred
dollars cheaper than all the other estimates.

We've had problems with My Cleaning Service at 2701 Cresmont. It doesn't
happen too often, but once a month or so they empty the dumpster between 1-3
am.

Here's the relevant text from the city ordinances. I couldn't figure out
how to link directly to the subsection, but it's in the Civil Citations
digest, under Title 7 of the Health Code

I think you'd be better off upgrading your insulation, rather than ventilating
your attic. Keep in mind that if you have knob and tube wiring you can't place
insulation over it, as it violates fire code. The aluminized or white roof
paint also helps quite a bit.

Has anyone else been getting visits from this company? They're some sort of
energy broker that's sending out door to door salespeople who are incredibly
aggressive. We've called the company several times to complain, but they

They've sent door to door solicitors by our house several times. They're
extremely persistent. Their parent company claims to have a "do not visit"
list, but I think it's mostly ignored.

I installed ikea cabinets in my wife's house before we were married. It
was pretty straightforward, didn't require too much skill, and it was *a
lot* cheaper than any of the other options. The only difficult part was
making rectangular cabinets fit into a space where neither the walls nor the

Either way this doesn't seem like an appropriate forum.

I had good luck with Milton Electric (410-276-3420). Same deal, upgrade
from the original 60 amp panel/service to 200 amp. I think it took two
days total. They pulled the permits, scheduled the inspection and did all
the work. It ran about $1300, but this was in 2005, so it may have gone up

Oops, I meant that people *aren't* choosing steam for new or replacement
systems.

There's also a hefty surcharge if you want to pay any taxes with a credit
card, rather than a check. A merchant usually eats the 3% or so that the
credit card company charges, but the government wants (and is probably
legally required) to get the full amount.

I go to Dr. George Shepley in the Rotunda. I highly recommend him.

Chad,
I haven't used him personally and he's not in Charles Village, but my
brother went to Dr Bruce Beacham (410-583-2328) for a melanoma and he was
fantastic. My brother was in pretty tight financial straits at the time

I believe all contractors that work on residential housing are required to
