OK, will work on getting the build to work as I mentioned earlier. Next
time a new version of ffmpeg is released, we should probably upgrade and
not wait for the ".1" release which is what we have traditionally done. If
we had known how long 6.1 was going to take, we would have used 6.0.
P.S.
OK, I will do a few tests yet of vp8/9.

I got nothing. But why not put that single asset on a track by itself in
the spot you will finally want it, disarm that track so nothing affects it,
and when you are finally done with your editing, stick it in the main track
where you want it. (This is probably a naive approach from me.)

Thanks anyway , I hope need for this patch will go away as we update ffnv
headers

I downloaded with wget, may be it
Seems OK to me and compiled but 2 questions:
1. When I downloaded with the link you provided, it did not put a "v" in
the name - it was just libvpx-1.13.1.tar.gz so I am a little confused about
the difference.
2. I think we also need to include the 1.13.0 patch because it changes the
line from:
Started to test now, but my build failed so will probably not get it going
until tomorrow so will let you know then.

this one apparently work better, in sense it compiles!
can anyone check if cuda/nvenc hw acceleration still works with it?

Because ffmpeg 6.1 still not branched I guess we better to look into
relevant changes ... and adapt our patch.

I think yes, because we at 1.13.0 already ... may be we can just add/apply
relevant patches without touching main tarball?
My enormous "what I would love to have as UX' is something that is still on
my todo list, but I am currently editing (again) a massive project. Now
using the method of dailies, which effectively means placing all assets on
the same timeline, and cut out the best takes.
Since my biggest
A vulnerability hole in the vpx library has come out these days. Do
you think it is worth updating?
