Yes, while I was thinking about just reusing complied x264 binary
much like mpeg2enc was used. But this will complicate muxing.

I'll try to patch libx264 inside ffmpeg, but those frame-time manipulations
still not something I can easily check (may be in Avidemux2?)

I think they still work in English locale, so try few non-English ones too?
I tried to put setlocale call into bdcreate.C, but it was not enough

Re: [Cin] Po files for spanish translation

2019-11-16 Thread Phyllis Smith
Well, since Cakewalk is the name of a theme, I am not sure if it should be
translated. It is another theme like all of the themes from Akirad project
likeSUV, unflat, "pink lady", blonde-cv. The Cakewalk theme is the default
and it was created by Olaf - a German. I do not know if it has any real
meaning or what he meant by it. My best guess for the meaning is that
"Cakewalk" is used to describe a task that is considered to be very easy --
like it's "a piece of cake" -- that is really easy.

Hi Phyllis. Can you help me? One word is pending to translate:
"Cakewalk", I don't understand what is, google tranltator give this
examples:

-

Definiciones de cakewalk

Verb

1
achieve or win something easily.
Tell me again why the Liberals are expected to cakewalk through the
coming election?
2
walk or dance in the manner of a cakewalk.
The whole Virginia Minstrels chorus joins in while cakewalking in line
behind Emmett.
Noun

1
an absurdly or surprisingly easy task.
Although I suspect the match will be a cakewalk , we are going to take
it very seriously.
2
a strutting dance popular at the end of the 19th century, developed from
a black-American contest in graceful walking that had a cake as a prize.

Her dance revue, Le Jazz Hot, included vernacular forms like the shimmy,
black bottom, shorty george and the cakewalk .

Ejemplos de Cakewalk

Her dance revue, Le Jazz Hot, included vernacular forms like the shimmy,
black bottom, shorty george and the CAKEWALK .

-

what is the right context?

thanks in advance

Unfortunately, those changes apparently made no effect after all -
because only x264 command line encoder knows how to deal with
--pulldown option.

Re: [Cin] Re3: Blu-ray encoding again

2019-11-16 Thread Phyllis Smith
Andrew, just trying to keep up with you but not really able to. Just some
feedback and a question.

With the fake-interlaced=1, a "real" interlace media file came out
progressive too, so besides your bluray.m2ts, gg created bluray_tff.m2ts
and bluray_bff.m2ts and made changes to bdcreate.C to pick that one based
on ILACE. I have yet to have him look into the bdcreate.C changes you
tested but hopefully I can do so today will still testing more bluray media
on the TV.

BUT, BIG QUESTION here and I already re-read the x264 url on deprecation of
x264opts to be replaced by x264-params. I can not get x264-params to work
with tff or bff added at the end of the statement. I even tried tff=1 and
still does not work. The only way I can get the interlace options to work
is with x264opts. So the question I have for you is, in your bluray.m2ts,
can you verify that the vbv-maxrate=4:vbv-bufsize=3 actually take
effect? I notice that you have them commented in the main section and added
them to the end of the x264opts. Thanks, Phyllis

I tested it on Ub16 with your testing build. I think it works fine. I
don't see any conflict with other features/functions (for example, I
tried it with the Mask tool enabled).

Thanks.

 1) to zoom in and out, use the middle mouse wheel /when not in

 2) to move the image, press down the middle mouse wheel and drag
 3) shift + press middle mouse button, returns to Auto zoom

 5) when you go to full screen mode, you can now use the middle
