[cisco-voip] Upgrade from CallManager 8.6 to BE6000?

2014-04-28 Thread Jason Aarons (AM)
Can I upgrade from CallManager 8.6 to BE6000 running CallManager 9.1? I don't think I can do a DRS restore on BE6000 of their old CallManager 8.6? Can I ? Is that supported? I'm thinking I can use Bulk Administration Export to move a lot of existing data from 8.6 to 9.1.

BE6000 is just regular CUCM so DRS Backup/Restore should work fine. BE5000 is where you need to Export/Import data via BAT. Brian On Mon, Apr 28, 2014 at 8:52 AM, Jason Aarons (AM) jason.aar...@dimensiondata.com wrote: Can I upgrade from CallManager 8.6 to BE6000 running CallManager 9.1?

Why is this? I believe this was to replace that registry setting for direct transfers, but when we set it, it is not staying. Am I missing something? Very annoying. Matthew G. Loraditch - CCNP-Voice, CCNA, CCDA 1965 Greenspring Drive Timonium, MD 21093 voice. 410.252.8830 fax. 410.252.9284

What specific data are you looking for? The newer phones have dropped MOS and Q-Factor subjective ratings in lieu of concealed seconds and severely concealed seconds. You won't see any raw MOS values reported by newer phones. -Ryan On Apr 25, 2014, at 1:16 PM, Justin Steinberg

The only data I see in the CMR are the IP addresses of the endpoints and the payloadcapability. All the packets sent/received, jitter, latency, etc values are always just 'null'. Sample below. [image: Inline image 1] On Mon, Apr 28, 2014 at 2:10 PM, Ryan Ratliff (rratliff)

DRS backup and restore is to/from the same version. So unless you upgrade the CUCM 8.6 to 9.1 first, you cannot use DRS. If you did however upgrade the CUCM 8.6 to 9.1 then you can. The BE6K is more of a marketing promotional bundle thing than it is really a hardware or software thing. If you
