I was also having problems with the 8831 on a 10.5. I found that if I had the tech do a factory reset from the menu, the phone would come up. Another problem was with the database. I would have to delete the phone from the system and let the phone auto register. Sent from my iPhone > On Jun

I have been working with TAC trying to get our first 8831 phone to register with our 10.0.1.11900-2 CUCM but we have had no success. The strange thing is that I found that the registration is "Rejected" before I even patch the phone into the network. TAC updated the load information for the 8831
