Yep, just configure your trunk group first:
trunk group PSTN
description PSTN Trunks
hunt-scheme sequential
!
Then assign the ports you want to the trunk group:
voice-port 0/2/0
trunk-group PSTN 1
description +16125551212
!
voice-port 0/2/1
trunk-group PSTN 2
description +16125551313
!
I am sending calls to 2298 to this port as a test of our 911 PSTN lines at
different locations. Is it possible to send it to a trunk group verses a port ?
dial-peer voice 2298 pots
destination-pattern 2298
port 0/1/0
prefix 5197412298

Hi All,
This might seem like a noob question but I have never had to do this

the called and calling number I cant seem to find any definitive answers

However, a profile can have a set of translation rules for called and calling.
Thinking of translations in three parts. For example:
First, apply the translation profile to the dial peer in the specific
