I can't believe I've not run across this previously and I can't seem to
find an answer in the docs. When you have a Unity Connection Cluster what
determines which port group is used for MWI assuming you have a separate
port group for each server within the same integration?
TIA
Thanks!
What you said is how Vik @ ipexpert explained in last year to me in regards to
CUCM 7x.
Wasn't certain if anything changed with 9x/10x. Glad to see it's the same as
7x in this regard. So really only a Translation Pattern would go before a

I have two trunks, the caller ID on each trunk needs to be different. All
phones will have the same caller ID depending on the trunk they choose. This
is easily enough done in the route patterns.
Now I have a case where one phone has a DID and needs it's caller ID to be
different then all the

I have a Ciso contract number for VMWare support?
I remember vaguely that in the past it was advised to contact TAC. Is this
still the case or should VMWare have record of our information?
Thanks as always!
The Jabber login should work with just the CSF device, and Softphone alone
would be available. Upon sign-in, you would see the name in the format of

Problem Report would tell us why the login fails

I suspect both are PERS requests as I believe the current answer is no.
Researching to be sure.

Is there a replacement for SRST Manager in the 10.x CUCM lineage? Looks
like SRST Manager 9.x sees CUCM 10 as CUCM 1 and marks it as an invalid
version.

The other thing about transformations is that they are intended to apply to
what is presented TO the device that they are configured on. You wouldn't
apply a transform at a phone for digits it sends, you'd apply a transform at
the phone for digits it is receiving.

It's probably worth generating a problem report and taking a look at those
logs.

What are you trying to have happen digit wise? I just started having a use for
these and found out some confusing things about where they apply and how they
match.
For example, for a called party transform on a trunk, the matching pattern
needs to match the digit string that went to the route p
I recall you only apply a Called Party Transformation outbound at the Device >

You can't apply a Called Party Transformation directly on the phone (that
setting is for inbound only at the phone level).

I opened the top cover and found that it contains the 4x UC-MR-1X082RY-A,
for some reason it was not shown in the BOQ I was given.

I have installed Jabber with the bootstrap and I have the option to select
phone only and add my TFTP, CTI and CCMCIP IPs which I have done. I have a
CSF device in CUCM, which is associated with an E
