Adding to Dennis's question below, is CUCM v11 going to be discussed at Cisco
Live in June? I see no sessions or breakouts about this. There's a few sessions
on CUC and UCCX roadmaps but nothing similar with regards to UCM.

Thanks!

[cisco-voip] Finesse 10.5 Agents stuck in reserved

2015-03-06 Thread Jose Colon II
I have some agents that every so often get stuck in reserved state. They
close the browser and reopen and it still says stuck in reserved. The
browser does not allow them to log out just close the browser.

I did a test

I logged into his computer and logged into finesse with firefox and it
showed "reserved" as his state.

I logged in as him on my computer and it showed "not ready" and everything
looked fine.

I then logged back into this machine and logged him in with firefox and it
showed "reserved".

So from this I know its not the system but the machine he is using that is
causing the issues.

Has anyone else seen these types of problems. These users are at remote
locations going over a MPLS network. Network ping times are under 60ms and
it happens at more then one locations with more then one agent.

Thanks

OK, thanks. I'm taking a look at the FAQ. There are a few things we will need
to try to get things working. It seems there are a number of exceptions, but it
seems there are also workarounds. Too bad it takes too long to get a proof of

Interesting. Thanks for this.

I was hoping for a more manual process, believe it or not. To get this working,
we'd likely have to open up quite a few ports, etc. But it might be worth a
try.

Something sending information back to the mother ship might unsettle a few
people. Especially with a live scan.

Cheers, Lelio

Cisco has a tool similar to what you want.

[cisco-voip] possible cisco.com/go/tool idea?

2015-03-06 Thread Lelio Fulgenzi

I'm just wondering, if whoever recommends tools for the www.cisco.com/go/tools
section might consider an end-of-life query tool that can be run in either
interactive or batch mode. What I'm looking to do is submit a query from a
host, listing a whole bunch of product SKUs, and get back in some simple
format, that no they are not yet end of life, or yes, they are end of life,
here are the dates.

Thoughts? Is there another way to do this rather than going to the product page
and looking for things? It's fairly easy to do with some things, but with
others, like network modules, not so easy.

2015-03-06 Thread Daniel Pagan
But this doesn’t provide the logic required for the call acceptance rule of
“accept only the first (regardless of ToD), reject all others, reset after 24
hours”. Aside from using some form of UCCX scripting or using a custom app
integrated through the JTAPI or Routing Rules API, I too don’t see CUCM
natively accomplishing this.

If youre on a modern version of ccm you could use a combo of "route to next hop
with calling party I'd" and hunts.

That would be a fun one to play around with.

Ryan

Out of the box no. You could leverage the Routing Rules API to build a policy

I have a user request for the following:

We are having an issue with a nuisance caller calling dispatch 20-30 times a
day for the past month. Can we set up the phone system to only allow the
following number to call once a day on our and extension numbers ?

519 XXX

After the one call is used for that day, the following call goes to this
message:
“If this is an emergency, please hang up and call 911 (hang up)”

The question is it possible to accept one call a day then route them to a
message or is it all or nothing ?

Thanks
