We’ve the need to move cucm/unity/ER subscriber nodes to a new data center.
The new DC runs all dell VxRail hyperconverged hardware.
Anyone aware of any concerns with cisco UC apps running on this hardware?

Hello,
We are uccx 10.6.1 where I understand both FINESSE and CAD can co-exist.
From what I’ve read, I can activate the Finesse component with the following CLI
utils uccx finesse activate
What I am not clear about, is if something else has to occur to keep the CAD
operating at the same time.
We’ve gone live with the new RF SR140 F0Ip environment a couple of months ago.
For the most part, things are working great.
There are a couple of destinations however that we don’t seem to be able to
successfully send to, even though I can send from the standalone fax machine in

Ok, just to close out this thread with the problem resolution.
We had the server records in CUCM administration built with the names, but not
as FQDN's.
Once changed, everything started working.

Hello, We’ve run into a very odd problem which I want to share and see if
anyone might have any insight to share..
Let me describe the situation:

-New uccx 10.6.1 server (still in demo mode) setup and int
Within our environment we have multiple cucm clusters of various sizes.
Is it necessary to have a separate UCCX server for every cucm cluster in order
to be able to take advantage of TAPS?
If so, is it necessary to purchase licenses for these separate uccx servers if
they are only going to be u
So when would you ever need to enable the DNS client on call manager for?

Does anyone know if I would be allowed to move SUBE session licensing from my
3925 router to my new 3945E router?
We are upgrading to the larger router to support more concurrent calls from our

We are in the process of planning our upgrade from 8.6 to 10.5 which means we
need to plan for a conversion of our DLU’s to the new licensing model.

We need to "hide" or change the extension number of a small group of cisco
phones when they are dialing internally (4 digits) to another phone.
Our thought was to use a calling party transformation pattern for this, which
appears to work fine when alerting and connected to the called number.

Has anyone implemented the free version of Informacast that ships with CUCM?
I cannot tell from the documentation if the VM requirements are the same for
any install base or not?

We've just installed a call recording application for use with CUCM phones.
On the wired 79xx phones there is an option to play a beep tone to callers, but
there is no such parameter on the 7925's.
Does anyone know if there is another way to play a periodic beep tone to
callers from a 7925 wire

You may have already done this but did you double check the IP address in the

There are several free wallboard apps around but they require a connection to
the uccx Informix database.
I've downloaded and installed the cisco recommended ODBC driver and configured
the connection. Although it test's Ok, I just cant seem to connect to the DB.
