What codecs are being used on the active transcoder call on both sides when
dialing from the CTS500? "show sccp conn" should show you that.

Keep in mind that a region, only specifies the maximum bandwidth, but does not
necessarily indicate that a call will use up to the maximum bandwidth codec
configured for that region.

The CTS 500 only supports G.711 and AAC-LD which is probably your issue-

Hello all,
I have a CTS 500 on my company which we want to enable pstn calls on it but
whenever we try to make a call using this equipament it invoke transcoding
no matter what region I use on CUCM.
But when I pull the handset from the phone the call goes normally without
invoke the transcoding.
