Just been through this exact scenario. Basically the phones will show the + symbol in the calling lists and on the display on inbound calls, but if you try and dial the +E164 stored number it will drop the + and dial the remaining digits. Basically we just had to setup a TP to allow calling E164

Getting similar problem (Corp Dir shows Host Not Found) at another customer, who has had CAPF service set to Inactive on Pub. Etc Doesn't CAPF need to be running along with CTL for phones to get an ITL, so that Corp Dir can use the https of "Application:Cisco..." ? This customer is running 8.5
