With assistance from the CFFI list I have managed to run the OpenGL
example files in
cl-glut-examples.lisp, which makes me very relieved. By reading the
example files I can
collect quite a bit of information about syntax but I would clearly be
better off if I had
, both in
32bit mode. My copy of
the cl-opengl files is dated, by ls -lt, 2008-11-11.
If there are sources of examples other then those which came with that
copy of cl-opengl, I would
be grateful for pointers to them.

I an venturing into graphics in cl undet linix.
Specifically I am running ccl 64-bit under Ubuntu 10.04 using emacs+slime as
an interface; but my lisp experience is from Allegro under Windows. Perhaps
it is not surprising that I am (slightly) baffled by some
install them all, I wonder ?
