Hello Odhiambo, Okay. You are in the same situation as myself. Some folks have gotten this to work for them. I know it works (sometimes) in FreeBSD 5.x but not 4.8 FreeBSD 4.x comes with gnu mp in the base system. Perhaps you can overwrite this with the port and try again. Not that I haven't
