Here is what comes up:

I've been running some tests lately, and I can not make clam block files
that exceed ArchiveMaxRecursion. I guess the same goes for the other
limits too, although I haven't tested them. clamd.conf attached inline

Currently my email is not being scanned for viruses. (I have received a
few viruses this morning.)
When I ps, I see clamd, postfix, and amavis (master, and 2 x child)
running. But, when I look in my messages file, I see this:

I currently have Clam .72 and I want to upgrade to .80
How do I uninstall .72?
Or, would it be easier to just upgrade to .80 with .72 still on the server?
The documentation does not say how to upgrade or uninstall. I don't want 2
version of clam on the server.
Thanks,
Darryl

I installed clamav 0.80 yesterday and now have problems with freshclam.
Each time it runs, I get the following error in freshclam.log:
/usr/bin/freshclam: error while loading shared libraries:
/usr/bin/freshclam: undefined symbol: cl_gentemp
The system is gentoo 2.6.1, any ideas?

I've never been a big fan of emerge myself, so I compile just about
everything from source. On that note, I removed all instances of

You hit it right on the head! I actually had the same thought earlier,
but apparently that brain cell died or something.
Thanks!
