It seems the clamassassin is calling clamscan with something wrong now.
It worked fine, and again works ok since I downgraded to 0.88.7.

hi,
we had the same problems with Mail::ClamAV (version 0.17) and clamav
0.90. Attached you will find a simple patch for Mail::Clamav (no
modification in clamav). Please note, that I have not realy verified
this patch (some deprecated functions and definitions).

0.9x introduces a new configuration syntax: you can now turn single
options on and off, the old crude hack of DisableDefaultScanOptions is
no longer required.
Please have a look at the examples: clamav-0.9*/etc/clamd.conf

How about:
**FixStaleSocket yes
FixStaleSocket no
In other words, the format for .conf files changed in 0.90... you need yes/no
after the option.
Example:
This morning I installed clamav-0.90 on our main mail server at work, a
V210 running Solaris 10.
I enabled the experimental code, and there was no problem building
(except for the previously discussed LDFLAGS problem, which resurfaced).

After about an hour, or maybe at busy times, clamd disappears without a
trace. No core dump, nothing in the logs.
This happens on every Solaris instance I've built. It does not matter if it

Ah. Well perhaps you will be pleased to hear that the Solaris x86
version you helped me with the other day is still going strong, although
admittedly on a very lightly loaded machine (40-60 messages a day).

I'm trying to upgrade to the latest version, however it gets an error in
