hi,
could be the same pb as me = on debian etch clamav 0.90 to 0.93
(volatile project) :
clamd takes some long minutes to load the viral base after an incomplete
update and during this time the clamd socket is not created :
I ve fixed the pb (after a little mail here).
= try uninstall
Should the following command work ?
iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i traffic-incoming interface -p tcp
--dport IM-port -j DNAT --to local-ip-addr:port-on-which-squid-listens
Btw, does squidguard support the ability to parse IM protocol ?
Thanks,
Babu

Hi there,

The atomic-rsync would have to be used instead of freshclam on all
2M+ clients

But it seems to me that there's hardly a week goes by without someone
posting to the list a new and interesting way in which his freshclam-
driven update has failed.
Take today, for example.
I haven't have a freshclam failure yet but I've had errors reported.

Perhaps the solution is to report only true failures and not intermediate

the latest version of freshclam with --no-warnings should do it
