I tried to submit a virus file at the web page but I get the message
below.
I have two different ClamAV installations (Solaris 9 and Fedora C 3)
both with the latest engine+database, but none of those is detecting the
virus:

ClamAV 0.83/724/Fri Feb 25 00:55:18 2005
# clamscan
This might have been more appropriate on the developer-list, I'm not sure -
earlier this morning I saw OnUpdateExecute effectively hang up my freshclamd.
I run a make off OnUpdateExecute to distribute the new databases etc., and
somehow this process
got stuck. OK, these things happen - but I

You're not supposed to run clamd RELOAD as in typing in from shell prompt.
It will start another instance of clamd (which should immediately die,
because socket is in use) and the RELOAD

The command is:

Sticking an amphersand on the end

Dear friends,
Some time ago I installed clamd with clamav-milter on server and it's work
good.
Now I'm trying to install clamd and clamav-milter on different servers.
It seems that clamav-milter needs to read clamd.conf. I'm a little
confused, what should I write in clamd.conf in my situation?

That would explain why root can update, but not the clamav user.
I'll try that and see what happens.
Thanks.

It appears that Gareth Andron and the php-clamav project have been wiped
from the face of the earth.
Would someone share some PHP code that lets me call libclamav or pass a
file to clamd for testing?
I've added attachments to a private phpBB installation and I'd like to

Hi -
I recently upgraded a SUSE 9.1 installation to the
/usr/local/bin/clamscan manual install and got everything to work
perfectly with amavisd, including clamd and freshclam.
The problem i am having now is that i want to revert back to the
standard yast install at /usr/bin.

I've been improving the module, try these (use the test_files folder

I'm having another problem as well. It's probably not related to clamav itself,

Can someone give me specifics to check .. just in case I'm being an
idiot and didn't check

Piggybacking - don't take offense...
Is there a possibility there could be separate ClamAV mail lists for Linux
