Hello ClamAV List
Starting midnight CET I keep seeing this upon running freshclam:
WARNING: DNS record is older than 3 hours.
WARNING: Invalid DNS reply. Falling back to HTTP mode.
Looks like an issue on ClamAV DNS side:
$ dig txt current.cvd.clamav.net +short @ns3.clamav.net
# freshclam

You need to upgrade to .81. Not a big deal. configure, make, make install.
How hard could it be?

This was just asked and answered.. Its telling something is suspicious with
the dns update, so it is looking for updates the old way.

I've just seen the following warnings in the console window I display
syslog entries in:
ClamAV update process started at Thu Sep 23 19:57:23 2004
WARNING: DNS record is older than 3 hours.

Now, it doesn't look like a biggie, but what hasn't updated for 3
hours?
