You don't need to import your playlists
click the Playlist tab, click Load Playlist
assuming your Itunes playlists are saved in one of the formats Clementine
uses
you can access & save playlists from any location

Here's a couple of things to check
Is your music HDD mounted before clementine is opened?
when you close clementine is it set to keep running in the background?
try opening clementine from a terminal which may give you clues about
what's going on

Your best source for help is probably the mint forum
Did you delete the clementine settings folder?
Which is probably somewhere like .config

you need to tell us what operating system & version of Clementine, if we
are to have any chance of helping you troubleshoot this issue
there are many way to do this stuff
personally I use Mageia linux with a KDE desktop environment
I use soundkonverter to transcode an audio cd to MP3, easytag to
open the smart playlist *all tracks* you will have a better idea total
tracks & time
many times tracks aren't missing so much as not where you think they should
be
fix the the tags [metadata], find the files
unknown, compilations & assorted artists are all places files can hide
display the
move the files to a different folder outside your library folder
I keep the files & use the comment or group field to exclude files I don't
want to include in most smart playlists
a group labeled live or a comment of skip
it's easy to select a few or many files, right click>edit track
Keep poking around, you won't get the exact layout
you could try the smart playlist All Tracks
you can reorder the playlist columns by dragging, right click to change
what's displayed
I can't tell what operating system you are using
for linux gmusic browser is more versatile as to layout, but
open a playlist right click on any column header, add/remove whatever
columns you wish
you may also right click any file click edit track information, click
summery tab

you will need to provide more detailed information if you expect meaningful
responses
try starting from the terminal/commandline that will provide much more
insight into the possible causes
did you get the version of clementine from the xubun repository?
Have you posted a question on your
to troubleshoot
start clementine from commandline
this may offer some insight as to what's occurring
the GUI will also open

You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google
what do you mean by "the sound of music"
files with incomplete or missing meta data can end up not being displayed
where one would expect
depending on how you have the library sorted file can hide in unknown
the missing files maybe found using search or by changing from the library
tab to the
click the wrench icon next to the search box above the library
