High light all the songs of an album, right click>edit track
information>edit tags
You will be able to see what kind of metadata is missing
The Music brainz complete tag automatically utility may solve some of the
issues

Most likely the files are there, but are hiding in the library
Clementine expects Artist>album>file to be the structure of your library
Click on the wrench next to the search box & change the way the library
displays
Check the various artists folder, anything with confused meta data can end
up
Maybe try to see if the issue happens with other players or versions? I
have a far larger collection (~100,000 tracks) and I do not have any issues
with Clementine detecting all the MP3s.
What could be, but may be strange, is that *maybe* there could be some
issues with the names of folders?
