built a clojure (wrapper) library: https://github.com/tuddman/clj-dde
basically it can 'monitor' defined Excel cells for changes... which can 'trigger' your clojure app to do stuff. conversely, can add / modify data in Excel cells programmaticaly from clojure ;-), as well. useful for 'real-time' applications. mostly finance or monitoring related. or anything else that utilizes Excel.
