Hi.
Is it possible in some way to add a build event that depends on a target
(different target than what the build event is for)? add_custom_command()
doesn't seem to support that.
What I'm trying to do is:
1) Have target "test", which builds tests
2) Have target "program". Have a post-build buil

I'm trying something I don't think is unreasonable.
I need to have an automatically generated file, let's say version.h
I have to run a custom command to generate it.
The contents of the file depend on some external forces, the custom command

I looked at this : https://cmake.org/Wiki/CMake/Tutorials/Object_Library,
and it suggests that I can use target_link_library() to combine static
libraries together. But I'm utterly failing at it.
Simple:
add_library(mylib STATIC ${lib_source})
target_link_libraries(mylib /path/to/libcool.a

Hello.
I'm trying to make CMake add to the linker RPATH automatically.
There is a library that is installed in a non-default location.
I'm discovering the library using PkgConfig (custom CMAKE_APPBUNDLE_PATH)
and add the library build options to the LINK_FLAGS (using set_property).
I then set INS

I really can't understand what's going on. Trying to compile my project

Running with --debug and --trace, I see:
