[CM] [snd] Any way to limit no. of sndlib in/out ports?

Is there a way to limit the number of input and output jack ports that are created automatically when running snd with jackd? It can get quite awkward when using an audio interface with a lot of channels, eg. a MADI card with 64 inputs and 64 outputs. John _
