Dec. 11 marked 10 years since the doctor informed me that I had a blood
disorder I had never even heard of beforeCML.
I have been on Gleevec all these years and doing quite well, having reached
remission in July of 2001.
This year, I made a trip alone to the brilliant little country of

Hi Folks,
I haven't posted for some time. I was recently taken by ambulance to
CCF from a local hospital due to a pulmonary embolism (blood clot in
the lung) and pericardial effusion (fluid around the heart). During
the course of testing and treatment they found I also have pulmonary
Kelly I know just how you feel, you tell them something and they just
don't want to listen. I've been thought this myself. Your complaints fall on
deaf ears. I showed them emails from people in our group but I think they
just think we are blowing smoke.
