Navtech had a recall in the early 2000s on the toggles, and mine was
probably not replaced at that time.
Since I had a bit of a trust issue on rod rigging that was
Adam, I'm impressed! What did you have to do to get the boat back to usable
condition?

Here is how I bought our boat. We'll technically it was 5 days later once it
was on the hard.

Not sure what you mean by sign off, Joe –
On my last survey, this is about all he said about the standing rigging –

observation is possible.
The turnbuckles as well as the chainplates that are integral to the

passing inspection ☹ They also said some of the fittings used in that era are
not even possible to inspect and use them again anyway.

I had good luck with a silicone seal that I found I think it was at Lowe's. It
was kind of oval shaped I think in Brown. It has a peel off strip that exposes
an adhesive. The nice

No way it was antimony. That is an alloying metal. They use it in keels to
give it a little more strength than pure Lead. Most likely it was
stainless, and could have chewed up the threads in the turnbuckle barrel.
Stainless on stainless should be lubed with Tefgel, stainless with bronze

tubes of mildew resistant latex caulk to seal the underside of where the
Rigging is OEM. Have owned boat 22 years. Have used waterproof grease on
turnbuckle threads every year. Wipe off excess after rig is tuned. Has worked
well. We remove mast every winter so can inspect everything. Last fall noted

I don't know if it is the best but I use Boeshield T-9 as lubricant for our
turnbuckles.
