Hmmm…. I think I used wd40, but I used it really as a flush more than as a lubricant. I have freed jammed furler (and many other) bearings (bushings, shafts) this way. Wrap the lower end with rags or paper towel, flush (blast into the gap with the little red tube) rotate, spin if possible,
