I would love to have Windows in the hull. But, as you mention they are always Ugly. For sure fitting them into an existing hull that was not built for it, would be very unwise. There needs to be careful structure changes if a window is fitted . . . . . I dreamed of a full length stripe that

I think windows in the hull are ugly. But then so are the boats they come in. Used to be that for a sailboat to be seaworthy for an ocean crossing, they were required to carry hard covers for the coach roof windows in case of breakage. If you want windows buy a Buick by the sea. Ed Levert C 34

I would have to agree with Chuck that it probably isn't a good fit for our boats,  but I do like them and they are kind of cool. It is slick to watch the green water flowing by. Some caveats I can think of are compromising the structure of the hull, after all we are bending these boats like a

I appreciate windows in hulls that were designed for it. I spent some time on a Beneteau that had them tastefully throughout and anyplace you could sit, there was a nice window placed so you could see out and see the horizon. The glass on this particular 55' Sense design looked like 3/4" thick
